Victoria Romero - Founder of Firm
Call to the Bar: 2003
Victoria Romero is a multilingual lawyer, mediator, notary public and adjudicator. She has practiced as a lawyer since 2003.
Her passion to offer valuable legal services brought her to establish a full-service practice in 2016: VR LAW. She leads a strong legal team offering services in an efficient and concrete way. She helps clients solve their problems with what works: Litigation, Negotiation, or Mediation. Building Solutions together is the goal.
We have built the following departments: Real Estate, Family, Litigation, Wills, Personal Injury and Disability…. And we continue building!
As a Mediator, she supports individuals and parties to proactively and systematically manage and/or resolve conflict in different ways. Currently, her mediation practice covers Family and Personal Injury Disputes.
Her Adjudication experience includes the Administrative Penalty Tribunal (Municipal), the Toronto Licence Tribunal (Municipal), The Condominium Authority Tribunal (Provincial) and the CMRITO Council (College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario)(Provincial).
Contributing to our community is especially important at VR LAW. Three decades of volunteer work has included different organizations such as the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association (formerly HOLA), the Centre for Spanish Speaking Peoples and different boards including the Equity Advisory Group of the Law Society. Victoria is committed to advancing issues of equity, human rights and diversity in the community. This path started early when she served as an Intern at the Canadian Human Right Commission!
We are very proud of our team! Our lawyers, Senior Law Clerk of 20 years, Paralegals and other law clerks work very hard to serve our clients in the best way possible.
